What careers does the field of Mass Communication involve?
The fields of mass communication involve the basis of conveyance of messages and multiple interactions to widespread channels such as Television, Radio, Newspaper, Cinema and now social media etc. So in a web of these different channels who most often intertwine with their own mediums there is mass employment in multiple different sectors. A film cinematographer and a TV news reporter work in the same sector of Mass Communication. So to name a few careers in the field of Mass Communication:-

The field of Mass Communication generally requires most technical expertise than academic knowledge although it is always, always beneficial to have academic excellence. Many colleges offer the field of Mass Communications at an undergraduate level as well, but they are not certainly more than the colleges providing the expertise at postgraduate level.
STEP-I
The first step is to either take an academic degree in any discipline ranging from Sociology to Science, the choice is completely independent and then moving to a postgraduate diploma/specialisation course for journalism.
